Our Clothes
Most of our t shirts are printed on 100% organic cotton American Apparel shirts. American Apparel is well known for being an ethical, sweatshop-free company that produces a great fitting, comfortable, t shirt. The company we work with to print the designs on our shirts uses an on-demand printing process in order to reduce waste. The ink that is used is water based which is much more friendly for the environment than more commonly used inks in the industry.
Our Designs
Worthy Cause Apparel works with individual, freelance artists from around the world, from Norway and Singapore to the U.S. and Malaysia, who are committed to producing the best designs possible. Many of the designers have had their designs featured on www.threadless.com andwww.designbyhumans.com. We are determined to produce a growing collection of designs that will both promote and help a growing community of grassroots organizations.
Our Causes
Worthy Cause Apparel teams up with a diverse range of grassroot social movements and charities as well as some large, multi-national organizations. The one thing all of the organizations have in common, though, is that they are dedicated to making a positive impact on both the environment and the people who live in it. For each t shirt sold, half the profit is given back to charity so that a positive change can be produced out of each shirt. Some of the charities we work with include Kiva, The Sapling Project, and The Nu Nu Project.
